My name is Russ Farris and I’m interested in lots of things. I hope that search engines will connect me with people with similar interests.

My chief interest, after my family, is learning about infectious diseases. I developed this interest after a heart attack in 1998. With the help of Dr. Per Mårin I wrote a book called The Potbelly Syndrome: How common Germs Cause Obesity, Diabetes, and Heart Disease. You can read about it at: http://www.potbellysyndrome.com
